A view of the north-eastern districts of Tripoli (Tebbaneh, etc..). Note the baked brick-ceilings of the houses at the bottom of the photo. This represents the traditional architecture commonly found in constructions made during the late Ottoman period. Next to the houses is the tower of an Ottoman police station and the dome of the Kastaflis Palace.
